The industry is reeling from harvest delays as a result of ice on the crops in the Desert regions of California and Arizona. Hearts, Lettuce, Broccoli, Mixed Leaf, Broccoli Rabe and Cauliflower are taking the brunt of the beating. There is very little to no growth when the daytime highs hover around the mid to upper 50’s and the lows are in the high 20’s to low 30’s. Weather patterns are trending warmer as of late last week. Claudia Pizarro-Villalobos, Sales Specialist, tells AndNowUKnow, "Since the plants are dormant due to the cold weather, they will need consecutive warm days to awaken before volumes can be positively affected. The supply issues in the Yuma and Imperial Valleys are still very unstable and even though the weather is warming up we still have some ways to go to get back on track.”

AGQ LABS has opened its 11,000 sq. ft., modern installation in Ventura County, California.
