<p><strong>Coral Gables, FL</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Del Monte Fresh Produce recently participated in two charity events hosted by Miami Children’s Hospital and other partners including Publix, Hyundai and Total Bank.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Brand ambassadors dressed up in Del Monte banana costumes and provided participants in the 5k race with healthy snacks and various photo ops.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“We were happy to support these two worthwhile events with a small healthy token of appreciation to all those participants who raised funds for such an important institution in our community,” said Dennis Christou, Vice President of North America Marketing.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Participants in the Miami Paddle Challenge held at Matheson Hammock Park were joined by five giant paddling Del Monte bananas.
