DNE kicked off its Spanish Clementine program in November this year and the company is offering both 5 lb Ocean Spray wooden boxes called pitufo boxes in Spain, and 3 lb. bags for the holidays through the end of January. The result is the overall crop is down by 30%. The good news is the brix levels are running high from the 10 to 13 range with very little decay and good size and color.” This year, the company also presented the first trials of a new early clementine called a clemenrubi.
