Double Diamond Offers Support to Victims of Hurricane Harvey

LEAMINGTON, ON – With the recent impacts of Hurricane Harvey across Southeast Texas, the industry is rallying to help bring relief to the region. One of those companies stepping up is Double Diamond Farms, which is donating a truckload of fresh produce to the Houston Food Bank to support the disaster relief efforts.
“The work that the Houston Food Bank does is incredibly important and touches so many lives. We are honored to work with them and provide fresh produce to those in need,” Chris Mastronardi, President/CEO of Double Diamond Farms, shares. “Our thoughts go out to all those affected by this tragedy.”
While Hurricane Harvey may have passed through the region, there is still much to be done and assess in the wake of the devastation. And as Director of Sales Emidio Cappussi says, every action makes a difference.
“Every donation counts. Our main operations are located in a tight-knit community as well, so we understand the importance of community and working together in times like these. We are glad we can show our support and provide fresh and nutritious produce for the region,” Emidio tells me.
Double Diamond has extended reach in both Canada and the U.S., with locations strategically placed across North America. To stay up to date on how this grower is influencing the industry keep checking in with AndNowUKnow.
