Careful selection of fruit combined with special packaging ensures fruit arrives in full green color. In addition to the ever-popular fried green tomato dishes, this fruit is well suited for salsas, chutney and salads. Retailers and foodservice distributors are clamoring for this company's consistent quality and color. Tru-Green tomatoes will be available from NatureFresh starting in March. Ray Wowryk, Director of Business Development tells AndNowUKnow, “With so many old and new variations of preparations, green tomatoes are no longer overlooked by high end restaurants, giving foodies a new twist on an old favorite.”
