Earthbound Farm has begun test sampling its new all organic, Power Meal Bowls. The ready-to-eat salads offer delicious combinations with plant-based proteins that include the Blueberry, Quinoa, Sunflower Kernel, and Baby Spinach option with balsamic vinaigrette. Salads also include a Chia and Soba Noodle with Zen Blend Asian Greens recipe accompanied with a Soy Vinaigrette and a Baby Lettuce Salad with a Black Bean and Corn Salsa and Tomatillo and Avocado dressing. The new offerings will be available in February. Samantha Cabaluna, VP Marketing & Communications, tells AndNowUKnow, “The response to our new line has been very exciting. Introducing grains to the salad category as well as unique flavor combinations all under 300 calories, seems to be the perfect combination for the on-the-go consumer.”

This year, Boskovich Farms is offering increased volumes on its celery products. With added acreage, the company is gearing up for Christmas and the New Year with great quality, despite concern over the possibility of yield depletion due to the ground disease Fusarium. Sales Manager, Russ Widerburg, tells AndNowUKnow, “There has been a growing trend in packaged and value-added celery over the past few years and Boskovich farms is here to help retailers respond to that growing demand. Celery’s popularity combined with the benefits of versatility and a long shelf life, make it a great item to promote during the holidays.”
