MIAMI, FL - Fresh Del Monte Produce is taking major steps to boost its distribution and logistics capabilities through a new partnership with Flowspace, a software platform and distribution network powering e-commerce logistics and fulfillment. Through this collaboration, 30 of Tricont Logistics’ temperature-controlled storage facilities will be added to Flowspace’s network of over 100 fulfillment centers.

Tricont Trucking and Tricont Logistics is Fresh Del Monte’s third-party trucking and logistics company, a release explained. Tricont will use Flowspace’s software to streamline the growth of Tricont Logistics, which serves a variety of customers, but primarily urgent, complex supply chains.
This partnership will enable Fresh Del Monte to continue leveraging its assets and growing its third-party logistics business, while also expanding its capacity for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands that require temperature-controlled facilities.
As e-commerce continues to provide significant opportunities for CPG brands, the scarcity of fulfillment partners capable of offering temperature-controlled facilities and specialized services can hamper growth. Together, Tricont and Flowspace will offer CPG brands the full-service fulfillment solution needed to boost digital commerce development and ensure efficient, convenient delivery to customers.
