The Northern California Fresh Produce and Floral Expo brought in more than 800 attendees. The event took place March 30th at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. FPFC President Carissa Mace stated, “the demand for exposure in the Northern California market is growing, so we added more booths for the Expo for 2011. But we still sold out and had several vendors on a wait list.” Retailers representing major chains such as Safeway, Save Mart, Raley’s and Grocery Outlet showed up, as well as smaller and independent companies.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
