IRVINE, CA - Western Growers has named Gary Pasquinelli as its 2014 Award of Honor recipient.
Gary, a Member of the Western Growers Board and Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of Pasquinelli Produce Company, decided to join the family business after he graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and attended law school, according to Western Growers.
Pasquinelli Produce has been a grower-shipper for more than 50 years and harvests 7,000 acres of winter vegetables, including iceberg, red leaf, green leaf, butter and romaine lettuces, cauliflower, broccoli and celery.
Since 1993, the company has grown vegetables for Dole Fresh Vegetables, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc., Steinbeck Country Marketing and Fresh Express.

Gary will be honored during Western Growers 89th Annual Meeting on November 2-5 at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas. The Award Dinner will be held Tuesday, November 4, in the Bellagio Ballroom.
