Giumarra Nogales is kicking off the first year of its Mexican Mango program. The harvest began with Ataulfos last week and will continue on with Tommy Atkins and Haden mangoes, its red fruit varieties. The company is also promoting its Green Mango program in disposable plastic containers. Gil Munguia, Division Manager for the Nogales Operation, tells AndNowUKnow, "We will have promotable quantities by the end of the month and will be shipping heavy volume through August. To accompany our inaugural mango season we are featuring a wide variety of value added packaging under our Nature's Partner label, from clamshells to bins.
