Grapery, the Bakersfield, California-based company is launching into another fruitful year. The company has been gaining notoriety for the innovative flavors and shapes of its premium table grapes and this year’s harvest is looking to larger than ever.

Creating a buzz in the marketplace for their rare qualities and flavors are the unique carnival-like Cotton Candy® variety which presents crisp, seedless grapes that deliver the sweet nostalgic flavor of the sticky, fluffy stuff we all enjoyed as kids. In addition, the Cotton Candy® grapes are also only harvested within a three week window beginning early August with availability through the end of the month. Also, drawing consumer attention are the wickedly sweet and oddly elongated Witch Fingers® grapes. To help take the buzz up another knotch, Grapery has launched Facebook pages for the Cotton Candy and Witch Fingers grapes

“We’ve had Cotton Candy grapes in trials in selected markets before, but this is the first time we’re growing them on a commercial scale,” said Jim Beagle, CEO. “‘Wow!’ is the general response we get when people try them for the first time. Kids love them, and really, anyone who’s tried them has been blown away by the flavor. They really do taste just like cotton candy.”

Grapery’s distinctive Flavor Promise line of grapes are available as well, offering great flavor and eatability. The company's limited edition Showcase line of table grapes will make their debut in grocery produce aisles this season. They are the “fruits” of Grapery’s innovation process, presenting one-of-a-kind grapes that don’t even have names yet. “Get them while you can and let us know what you think. You might have the perfect name for our newest grapes,” says Beagle.
