Arvin, CA

Grimmway Farms have kicked off harvest on its King-Pak potatoes. The company is currently harvesting White, Red, and Yellow potatoes and anticipate starting its Russet crop around the week of June 11th. The weather has been ideal for production with the peak of the potato season hitting during the month of June. All King-Pak potatoes are being harvested out of Kern County and the supply looks to be normal and right on schedule. Tom Franconi, (fran-cone-knee) Vice President of Sales, tells AndNowUKnow, "The market in general now is close to average prices and we would like retailers to know the new crop potatoes quality is excellent and supply is ample."

www.grimmway.com

Sacramento, CA

Joe Produce, a job marketing company, has been launched to the produce industry.
