Recently, the wholesaler announced it has completed a monumental acquisition of Shapiro-Gilman-Shandler Produce (SGS), a major produce and dairy provider in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Already in its 112th year of operation, the well-established and longstanding produce provider will add a wide range of business customers to GrubMarket’s portfolio, including retailers, wholesalers, government institutions, purveyors, and more.

SGS also operates sustainably through all aspects of its operation all in the pursuit of protecting the environment.
After the acquisition, the business will continue to be managed by its current leadership team.
