Six months in the making, Ham Produce is introducing the Covington Sweet Potato Vodka, made from local North Carolina sweet potatoes that are distilled in Snow Hill. The Sweet Potato Vodka won a Gold medal at the 2013 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and is now available in North Carolina ABC stores and online at www.internetwines.com. During the holiday season, Ham Produce is highlighting their patented processing technology for sweet potato puree. It utilizes a 50 lb bag, a 55 gallon drum, or 2300 lb totes.
