Mike Walkenhorst Joins US Foods as New Area President

ROSEMONT, IL - We are sending our congratulations to Mike Walkenhorst, the new Area President at US Foods. After more than two decades in the packaging and facility solutions distribution industry, the leader shared his excitement for starting this new chapter in a post to LinkedIn.

Randy leaves behind a strong foundation and a reputation that speaks for itself, and I wish him nothing but the best in a well-earned retirement,” Walkenhorst stated of his predecessor in the announcement.

Additionally, Walkenhorst shared gratitude for the experience and steps that got him to this latest role through his time at full-service provider of packaging Veritiv. He gave a nod to the company for the many opportunities, challenges, and relationships over more than a decade and an evolution of roles.
