MIAMI, FL - As Moxxy Marketing continues to grow, its team is flexing its marketing muscles in promoting Allie Coombs to Project Manager. Coombs, who began her career with Moxxy in 2014, has seen the agency through Salinas, California, brick-and-mortar offices to its current position as a virtual marketing hub.
"I don’t want to have to choose between being a mom of young kids and having a career," Coombs remarked. "My position at Moxxy allows me the flexibility to continue growing in marketing and the ag industry, in alliance with other responsibilities. I’m enjoying understanding more about our business and having decision-making authority in a project management role, and look forward to continuing to support our fantastic roster of fresh food clients across the U.S."
After earning a B.S. in New Media Communications from Oregon State University, a press release explained, Coombs began her career in fresh produce sales and business development in Monterey, California, before joining Moxxy in Salinas as a Project Coordinator.
In 2016, she returned to her hometown of Portland, Oregon, to start a family. As her kids became more independent, Coombs felt the familiar pull to reconnect with Moxxy.
"Allie came to Moxxy with fresh produce sales experience, which gives her valuable perspective on our industry, and over the years she has developed into a knowledgeable fresh produce marketer," said Karen Nardozza, President and Chief Executive Officer.
