<p>Paramount Citrus is harvesting a host of citrus offerings this winter including Navels, Mandarins, Texas Red Grapefruit, Minneolas, Lemons and Limes. New to the brand portfolio is the Paramount Citrus Wonderful Halos crop, packed in the world’s largest citrus packinghouse in Delano, Calif., as well as through its partner, Fowler Packing.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">David Krause, president of Paramount Citrus, tells AndNowUKnow, "Paramount grows 14,000 acres of mandarin orchards located primarily in California’s San Joaquin Valley, making Paramount Citrus the industry’s largest grower of mandarins."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">There have been some weather complications this season as freezing temperatures set in earlier than usual, but otherwise the weather in California is fairly ideal for growing Paramount Citrus’ Clementines and Mandarins. Wonderful Halos mandarins will be harvested from November to April, Navels from September to June, Valencias from February to mid-November and Texas Red Grapefruit from October to May.
