The Peru Trade and Investment Office continues to celebrate its success of its Peruvian produce at this year’s PMA. Exporters representing avocados and asparagus offered unique insight into the country’s location and growing conditions for year round produce production. The company says they have seen growth in Peruvian exports over the past five years and expect to maintain their standing of #1 exporter of fresh and refrigerated asparagus to the U.S. Ricardo Romero, Peru Trade Representative in the West Coast, states, “Agriculture is part of the history of the people of Peru. With the worldwide positioning of our country’s cuisine and the diversity of our agricultural products, Peru is introducing new flavors to the world.”

Herndon Farms is introducing a new label, Lil’ Bo’s Petite Sweet Vidalia Onions.
