Prime Time International is gearing up for its peak production period of its watermelon, sweet corn and pepper harvest. Just in time for Memorial Day festivities, the company will be offering a plentiful supply from now through the end of July. Due to the season's cooperating weather, production for Prime Time is running 5 to 7 days ahead of schedule with great quality and volume to accompany the steady market. Mike Aiton, Marketing Director, tells AndNowUKnow, "In addition to the great growing conditions we have had this year, we are also expanding planting on our mini peppers in response to consumer demand. The item is being harvested in Coachella, and comes in one and two pound bags of red, yellow and orange mini peppers."

www.primetimeproduce.com

EarthFresh Farms has launched its new campaign Foodies for Klondike Rose Potatoes contest. Bloggers are provided with a 5 lbs. bag of Klondike Rose Potatoes and a $75 gift card to the grocery store of their choice to cover the cost of ingredients. The winning blogger will be announced in mid-June and will receive a Kitchenaid food processor and a $300 grocery gift card. Stephanie Cutaia, Marketing Manager, tells AndNowUKnow, "We are very excited for this new campaign. Not only does it allow us to raise awareness of Klondike potatoes, but it allows us to reach out to online consumers and promote culinary creativity within the category."

www.earthfreshfoods.com
