<p>Produce Inspectors of America has recently welcomed a new face to the team. Hermann Mecklenburg has been appointed to the executive role of Asia Manager PIA. In his new role, Hermann will be in charge of supervision and coordination for Quality Control operations around Asia. This role also includes developing new businesses and generating commercial contacts. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img class="small-cropped-image" src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/hl_pia_nov_27_2013_hermann.jpg" alt="images 112913" width="115" height="162" />Hermann brings knowledge of different fruit species and post harvest processes to his new role. He was most recently in charge of a Blueberry export company supervising operations and directing the commercial facets. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Juan Ignacio Elissetche, Owner and General Manager of PIA and PIE, tells AndNowUKnow, "Hermann is an energetic young professional who loves to get involved in new markets and cultures.
