Pura Vida Farms Welcomes New VP of East Coast Sales

Mr. Martori has a 100-year family legacy and in fresh produce and brings more than 9 years of experience with growing and sales to his role with Pura Vida team.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/puravida012113body.jpg" alt="images012113" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Martori joined the Pura Vida team on December 1, 2012. He will be managing the company's expanding eastern watermelon program as well as the pineapple import program through Costa Rica, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“I am looking forward to sharing the expansion of our watermelon program with our customers,” Martori said. “We are building a really good network of farms from Florida to Delaware that are going to bring us some of the best varieties at their peak of season. Our eastern program is really expanding and it’s exciting to be a part of.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Martori hopes to create a network of small farms with seasonal production in order to offer a continuity of supply that can be shipped reliably and economically for the entire domestic season.
