Pure Hothouse Foods has experienced outstanding growth within the last couple years, and this trend is forecast to continue for the foreseeable future. As a result, the company has added more than 100 acres in the Mexico region due to customer demands for the grower’s quality greenhouse produce marketed under the Pure Flavor® brand throughout North America. The Solar company will be installing the 677.5 kw DC system, which is sized to eliminate 100% of the current electrical bill. The installation is the environmental equivalent of planting 242 acres of trees. This system will be the largest solar project to date in the city of Morgan Hill. By converting the beautiful California sunshine to electricity for powering its operations, the company is not only saving costs but also reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to the improvement of the environment.
