Ruby Fresh has launched its newest product, Salad Jewels. Available in three varieties, the item combines fresh and crispy pomegranate arils with savory ingredients in ready to go packages. The Sparkling Spring Mix presents arils, chopped walnuts, and gorgonzola cheese, with The Gleaming Mediterranean Mix merging arils, sliced almonds, and feta. The Brilliant Southern Blend joins arils, sliced pecans, and crumbled bacon. Salesman, David Anthony, tells AndNowUKnow, "This salad mix enhancement can be combined with anything from lettuce to spring mix. Just add your favorite dressing. Demand has increased in Canada and the US with both retailers and high end specialty stores. Increased production has been added for 2013 to keep up with the surge in consumer desire for a product that tastes good and is packed with nutrition.
