Chris Jensen brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Ibotta. During his tenure, he led a team of over 250 professionals across sales, account management, and operations, helping the company achieve significant milestones, including its IPO on the NYSE in April 2024 and surpassing $400 million in revenue. His expertise in building scalable revenue functions and commercial operations aligns seamlessly with Simbe’s growth trajectory.
Jensen’s career also includes a role as Global Marketing Director at Whole Foods Market, where he established the company’s performance marketing function and spearheaded digital initiatives that generated over $300 million in incremental revenue. Additionally, his entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his founding of Givella, a fintech marketing platform that later merged with a European cashback company.

Simbe’s recent milestones underscore the company’s rapid growth and impact on the retail industry. As stated in the press release, the company successfully closed a $50 million Series C funding round led by Goldman Sachs in October 2024.
