PHOENIX, AZ - Hari Avula is lending his over two decades of experience to Sprouts Farmers Market as he takes a spot on its Board of Directors.

Avula has a treasure trove of expertise to call on as he assumes his role, drawing on nearly 27 years of rounded industry and financial experience. According to the release, Avula currently serves as the Chief Financial and Strategic Officer of Clif Bar & Company, a position he has held since May 2021. There, he leads the financial management and enterprise strategy functions for the nutritious and organic food company.

Prior to Clif Bar, Avula served as Chief Financial Officer of Global Business Transformation and Digital/IT from 2020 to 2021 for Walgreens Boots Alliance and as the Chief Financial Officer of Retail Pharmacy U.S.A. from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Walgreens, Avula spent over 22 years at PepsiCo in a variety of financial and strategic roles, culminating as the Chief Financial Officer for Frito-Lay North America from 2015 to 2017.
