Stemilt Growers is entering peak season for its rainier cherries. The high brix levels, and large size offer consumers a super sweet yellow cherry with a slight red blush. Rainiers will be available until early August. The company is also just finishing the harvest on its Robada apricots. Stemilt will be starting Rivals and Perfection right after the Robada variety. Quality and supply are good for both Rainiers and Apricots. Stemilt has historically been the largest shipper of these two items in Washington. Roger Pepperl, Marketing Director, "Stemilt has always been known for its great late season cherries, and this year we will be offering consumers our cherries through the Summer months all the way to September 5th."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">California Giant Berry Farms is picking up momentum in its peak season for blueberries. The company is currently harvesting blueberries in Oregon and British Columbia with supplies continuing for the next couple months. The berry grower offers the fruit in smaller pints up to 2 pound containers. Cindy Jewell, Director of Marketing, tells AndNowUKnow, " California Giant Berry Farms provides our trade partners with several packaging options based on their customer preferences.
