The new venture will specialize in the fresh food industry, according to a press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“Food marketing is a highly competitive and all too often commoditized business; knowing who your target consumer is and how to connect your products with them is more important than ever before. Our expertise in these areas will enable us to provide our clients with marketing strategies and initiatives that can change the game – and deliver results,” O’Conner states.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The former CEO of Avocados from Mexico and the U.S. Potato Board created the new consulting group to offer services that include strategy development for long-term value creation along with identification of unmet needs and positioning of new and current offerings. Additional services include, unique and customized communications and retail- and shopper-marketing initiatives as well as partnership programs that connect with consumers. Analytical review of clients’ current situation and products, with insights and recommendations for future strategies will also be a focus of Tim O’Connor &amp; Associates.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>O’Connor has brought on associates with extensive experience in fresh food marketing, consumer research, and packaging.
