ROSEMONT, IL - Dedicated to helping its foodservice partners thrive, US Foods recently added two transformative technology offerings to its CHECK® Business Tools program to drive traffic, simplify staffing, and reduce waste. Bear Robotics and 7shifts were selected by the distributor after taking part in its Innovative Partnerships incubator program with over 20 other restaurant technology providers.

Bear Robotics offers “Servi,” a hospitality robot that can help restaurant operators and staff become more efficient while also reducing labor burdens and boosting guest interactions, a release explained. The robot can also run food, deliver drinks, and bus dishes back to the kitchen, eliminating repetitive service needs, so staff can focus on delivering the best possible service.
Each Servi robot is self-driving and comes equipped with multiple cameras. They also use LiDar sensors for nimble navigation throughout any restaurant space.
The other transformative technology, 7shifts, is an all-in-one team management platform that can be used across mobile and desktop. It was designed specifically for restaurants and provides operators with team management tools like scheduling, communication, tip management, tasks, and more.
