LOS ANGELES, CA - Vision Produce is unrolling its inaugural set of 'grower direct' deals. These deals encompass the grower's year round program, drawing on produce from fields in Sinaloa, Sonora, Southern California and Baja Mexico.

Donald Souther, Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development“This was the next natural evolution in our ongoing goal to get closer to the source,” Donald Souther, Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development shared. “With the growing popularity of chili peppers, it was important for us to have our own product controlled from seed to distribution. This will allow us to have complete control over quality and availability to best service our growing customer base.”

Vision Produce's first harvest which shipped out last week week included:

  • Jalapeños
  • Pasilla
  • Serrano
  • Caribe
  • Tomatillo

Vision Produce will also be adding Habanero and Manzanos in the Spring in order to complete the full line offering. According to a press release, all varieties will be packaged under the California Chile Company and the Rodriguera Farms labels. Certified Food Safety will accompany both labels as an additional feature.
