Well-Pict is seeing even higher than normal quality and quantity this summer, as its Central California coastal vineyards in Santa Maria and Watsonville are experiencing ideal climate for bumper crops. Santa Maria will be producing strawberries through August and Watsonville through October. Well-Pict strawberries exhibit a full size and signature heart shape while the company's raspberries are set to take off mid-May. Strawberries and raspberries are ideal for cross-promotion, especially as a healthy alternative to sugary snacks for the Summer. Sales Manager, Dan Crowley, tells AndNowUKnow, "Consumers looking for fresh, nutritious foods to include in their summer meals will find that Well-Pict's all-natural proprietary treats are the perfect choice."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Opal Apples are about as unique as they come and FirstFruits Marketing is looking to get the apple that "does not brown when cut", into new hands. The company has increased its acreage again this year and is well on its way to producing over a half million bushels. Along with the expansion and because volume has grown significantly, the company is launching both organic and conventional opals in mid-November. They previously ran separately. CEO, Keith Mathews, tells AndNowUKnow, "Opal apples offer a bright, iridescent, yellow coloring with a delicious, firm and crisp eating experience. The apple, which can be showcased in the company's 4 box merchandiser, really pops when on display."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
