Wish Farms has launched into its Florida strawberry season with increased acreage and a new grower partner in the group. Current freezing temperatures presented a challenge for the company but Wish Farms is bouncing back with steady volumes slated for the coming weeks. In addition, Wish Farms is continuing to expand its “How’s my picking” program this year with grocery giveaways and more brand promotions. President, Gary Wishnatzki, tells AndNowUKnow, “It’s all about the flavor for consumers. The quality and eating experience of our fruit this year is excellent and we are looking forward to promoting this fresh and healthy product as 2014 gets underway.”

Sbrocco is adding additional Table Grape and Apple varieties to its GOOD 4 U FRESH FRUIT product line, which focuses on kid-friendly, conveniently packaged produce. In addition, the company is addressing the growing concern amongst consumers about the safety of the U.S. food system. To help educate consumers, Sbrocco has launched a new website, www.Good4UFreshFruit.com, as a medium to communicate the measures Sbrocco takes to monitor the safety and quality of their products. Christina Regan, Marketing Manager, tells AndNowUKnow, “We know there is a strong need for more healthful foods targeted at kids. With GOOD 4 U FRESH FRUIT®, we have created a high-quality brand that retailers trust, and an easy way for parents to identify kid-friendly snacking solutions.”
