<p>Wish Farms has recently been honored with a Salute to Agriculture Award by Farm Credit of Central Florida and the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce. This award, one of three handed out on August 14th, recognizes agricultural professionals and educators in the region, according to a press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“We’re honored to be recognized with this award,” stated Gary Wishnatski, whose grandfather started the company in the 1920’s. “It’s a testimony to the commitment and hard work our employees provide each day.” </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Their specific award was the Agri-Business of the Year Award. The company was recognized for its innovation in ensuring the freshness of its crops. Wish Farms unique How’s My Picking program allows consumers to log in to the website and provide constructive feedback while learning when, where and who picked their produce. The program also links this feedback to specific crops, pickers, and harvest times. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Wish Farms is the largest strawberry producer in Plant City. It is a family owned business headed by Gary Wishnatzki.
