Safeway and Lucerne's Art Of Dairy Contest

<p><stong>Pleasanton, CA - Safeway Inc. and their Lucerne&reg; brand have announced that they are accepting entries for the Seventh Annual Lucerne&reg; &ldquo;The Art of Dairy Art Contest.&rdquo; The contest is hosting a brand new theme - "Red, White, &amp; Moo." The theme asks students to consider what American ingenuity means to them by introducing their ideas using Lucerne dairy products on a cow-shaped template.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Students are given a chance to present their creative designs for a chance to win a grand prize of $30,000. Mid-January will reveal nine finalists who will paint their creations on fiberglass cow sculptures funded by a $250 stipend for art supplies. Safeway and Lucerne have been committed advocate of the creative individual and since the contests establishment in 2005, Lucerne has contributed over $327,000 to their cause.
