<p><strong>PLEASANTON, CA</strong> - Safeway Inc. has some movement in the ranks. The company is appointing Al Duran to President of the company's Denver Division. Mr. Duran has been with Safeway since 1979 where he began working through the company's ranks in the company's Phoenix and Dominick's divisions. He went corporate in 2009, taking on the role of Vice President of Retail Initiatives.
