The packaging also reflects the needs of the company’s retail partners.

Andy Martin, President, A & A Organic Farms“Our lemon bags have a UPC header and are bilingual with both French and English; to better serve our Canadian customers,” said President Andy Martin, in a press release.

The lemons are packed in 40 lb bulk boxes, with traditional 18 x 2 lb bagged lemons and new 9 x 2 lb bags available as well. The company’s Fancy and Choice Lemons are available in: 75 ct, 95 ct, 115 ct, 140 ct, 165 ct, and 200 ct. The lower count offers smaller retailers an option to reduce shrink. The grower’s Fancy Lemons also have a GTIN bar coded PLU sticker on each fruit, though Choice lemons do not have PLU stickers. A & A Organic Farms offers a strip of PLU stickers in some of the Choice boxes for customers seeking a lower price point. These lemons are available to load in Irwindale, California.
