GUADALUPE, CA - With the Organic Produce Summit (OPS) not far on the horizon, suppliers across the industry are preparing to meet with new and long-standing partners and highlight their recent successes within the organic sector. As Beachside Produce has been experiencing impressive growth within its organic portfolio, I got in touch with Adrian Espinoza, Procurement and Sales, to get a preview of the provider’s showcase for the upcoming event.
“The Organic Produce Summit is a great way to get out of the office and interact with our customers face-to-face. These shows really help grower/shippers build stronger relationships and promote new business,” Adrian commented. “We are extremely excited for OPS this year. Last year we had a great turnout, and I feel like this year will be even better!”
Headlining Beachside Produce’s OPS exhibition will be the company’s organic Romaine hearts, which are grown in California’s Santa Maria Valley from April through October and the Imperial Valley from November through March. The supplier’s organic strawberries, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and spinach will also be showcased during the event.
“Beachside Produce prides itself on being a ‘boutique organic grower/shipper.’ We aren’t a big-volume organic grower, but we do concentrate on quality and service,” Adrian adds. “We have seen tremendous growth in two of our main commodities, organic romaine and organic strawberries. This season, we have definitely bumped up our production to meet the rising demands.”
While I would love to tell you more about the company’s evolving organic portfolio and the many advantages that it provides Beachside’s partners, you’ll have to see for yourself at booth #510.
