LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - On the heels of last year's “40 Acts of Kindness” for Allen Lund Company’s 40th anniversary, the notoriously charitable company kicked off an additional year of the initiative in March. On April 27, ALC employees and their families joined with North Shore Burgers to feed men experiencing homelessness in Downtown Los Angeles.

"It is a distinct privilege to provide a hot meal to the homeless men who call the Cardinal Manning Center home while transitioning into employment," stated Nora Trueblood, Marketing Director. "We look forward to this day every year, and wish it was more often."

This is ALC's third consecutive year donating time to help to feed the homeless at St. Vincent De Paul's Cardinal Manning Center, a homeless shelter in Downtown Los Angeles that offers a comprehensive program for adult men, according to a press release. The program assists in transitioning men from the streets into housing. On a monthly basis, corporate sponsors sign up for a day during the week to provide food to the residents of the center.
