LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Thanks to Allen Lund Company, a new app is making it easier to track loads and optimize efficiencies. The company is wielding its transportation expertise to spark valuable advantages within the supply chain, and Kenny Lund, Executive Vice President at Allen Lund Company and ALC Logistics, recently divulged some of the details.
“We’ve worked for years trying to solve that problem of load tracking. We are rolling out a new product, and it’s the Carrier App,” Kenny shares. “What’s nice is it makes it easier for the drivers to enter in their information and to get that back to the shipper, so we know where the loads are.”
As Kenny teases, new additions to the program are coming out every month to meet the evolving needs of customers.
“The system is amazingly flexible, and we can customize it for every customer that we have, so it operates the way they need it to for their business protocols,” Kenny adds. “What’s amazing about our new load tracking app is that it provides information to the carrier, to the shipper at the shipping point, and to the receiver. It provides information to the broker. So it’s integrated within multiple systems that [are] in the Alchemy TMS chain of information.”
