SEATTLE, WA - Just a couple of weeks ago, we reported that Amazon was expanding its Amazon Fresh format in New York and Illinois. Now, the retailer is expanding its footprint once more as it has set its sights on New Jersey and California.
Located in Paramus, the new NJ store will be the first in the state, contributing to Amazon’s growing presence in the industry. The CA-based store, on the other hand, opened in Encino. Each of the locations feature Just Walk Out technology, making the shopping experience even more convenient.
The new store openings create hundreds of jobs for their local communities as well. According to a press announcement from the retailer, Amazon’s NJ store stands at 40,000 square feet, while the CA store boasts of 44,000 square feet. Shoppers will enjoy a high-quality selection of produce and prepared foods located in the stores.
