Chris Pollock, the new Marketing Manager for BC Tree Fruits, joins AndNowUKnow from the 2011 Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit floor. Here at his first show, Mr. Pollock talks to us about the fantastic Ambrosia Apples from BC Tree Fruits. The fruit is currently hitting the shelves in local produce isles. The Ambrosia began as a chance seedling and was founded in British Columbia in the Okanagan Valley in Kelowna. The Ambrosia which is great for snacking, salads, pies and baking, is harvested in late September and is currently available now with its season stretching into April or May.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
