Bee Sweet Citrus Satsuma Mandarins Now Available for Fall Holiday Season
- by Robert Schaulis
FOWLER, CA - California’s domestic citrus season is in full effect, and the Bee Sweet Citrus sales team is ready to help retailers capitalize on this oh-so-sweet holiday season—with Satsuma mandarins.
“With Halloween right around the corner, many parents and educators are looking for healthy snacks to include in their holiday festivities,” said Director of Communications Monique Bienvenue, in a press release. “Satsuma mandarins are not only tasty; they’re also an excellent source of vitamin C, making them an ideal snack for children or those on-the-go.”
Available now through the month of November, Bee Sweet Citrus Satsumas are a perennial hit, enjoyed for their easy-to-peel skin, juicy flesh, lack of seeds, and sweet taste.
“Consumers are often fans of Satsuma mandarins because they’re great for snacking and can be used for seasonal celebrations like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas,” continued Bienvenue. “The fruit’s versatility and nutritional benefits make them a hit amongst households everywhere.”
The company also noted that Satsumas are ideally versatile; Satsumas can be eaten as a stand-alone snack or included as an ingredient for salads, marmalades, and specialty cocktail drinks.
Bee Sweet Citrus Satsumas are grown and harvested in California’s Central Valley.
