SACRAMENTO, CA - In October, Oppy announced a new partnership with Blue Diamond Growers. The collaboration sparked a product line focused on two things consumers want most: a healthy snack in a convenient package.

"... [in the produce section, almonds are [an] underrepresented nut type... You can find a lot of other nuts in the produce department, but almonds only represent 5 percent [of the] share there today," remarked Sara Holtberg, Group Marketing Manager, Blue Diamond Growers.
The point is to put this new line in front of consumers in destinations already associated with health, i.e., the produce department.

The full list of varieties in the new line includes Oven Roasted Honey, Lightly Salted, Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Whole Natural Almonds, Toasted Almonds & Cherries, and Sea Salt Almonds & Blueberries.
"We are so excited to announce our partnership with Oppy. They have a very similar culture to Blue Diamond. They represent growers across the United States and in Canada," Sara added. "We're able to go from farm all the way to the grocery store with 100 percent transparency, and it was just a really nice culture fit for the two groups to come together and bring almonds into [the] produce department," Sara concluded.
