SANTA PAULA, CA - Does anyone else already have their bags packed for Monterey, California? I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Organic Produce Summit (OPS), and that enthusiasm is matched by the team at Calavo Growers. I recently had the chance to talk shop with Lindsay Martinez, Corporate Marketing Manager, who divulged all the juicy details.
“Calavo’s goals for a successful show include educating attendees about our company as we continue to roll out our one-company vision, showcasing our offerings for fresh organic needs, and continuing to build and foster long-standing retail partner relationships that are the foundation upon which we grow our business,” Lindsay began.
At the event, the company will showcase items from its array of product offerings, including organic and Fair Trade avocados, organic guacamole, and value-added, organic pre-cut fruit and vegetable items. Calavo is a proud supporter of OPS, and the team looks forward to the opportunity to come together and celebrate the industry at this great event.
“Like most everyone these days, we are looking forward to having face-to-face conversations with our customers and industry colleagues,” Lindsay told me. “Calavo prides itself on collaborating with our peers and retail partners to help drive solutions to drive demand for and increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.”
As Lindsay explained, OPS captures a niche audience while delivering high-quality educational content, field tours, and a great expo to cap off the event. Whether an attendee’s goal is to network, learn, or procure organic products, OPS checks all the boxes.
“Our hope as attendees visit the Calavo booth is they walk away with an understanding of Calavo as a tenured leader in the avocado industry, that cares deeply about nurturing the earth through organic and sustainable practices,” Lindsay concluded. “We thoughtfully and proudly distribute our portfolio of organic, Fair Trade, and value-added products to retail partners around the world, and are committed to providing healthy, nourishing products to consumers.”
Still have some packing to do? There is plenty of time but think about cracking out that suitcase sooner than later! I’ll see you on the show floor.
