<p><img class="small-cropped-image" src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/LB_Kriel_thumb00.jpg" alt="IMAGES - MAy 22 2013" />Louis Kriel, CEO of the Fruit Division for Capespan has announced that he will be leaving the Capespan Group at the end of June 2013. Kriel has spent the past 22 years with Capespan. Of those, 12 years were spent outside of South Africa, where he witnessed Capespan's transformation. He experienced the single channel marketing, deregulation and the formation of grower owned Cooperatives, the merger between Outspan and Unifruco and then the formation of Capespan in 1999, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/vienna.jpg" alt="IMAGES - MAy 22 2013" />Mr Kriel, stated, “The opportune time has arrived for me to further my career outside of the fruit industry.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Group CEO, Johan Dique, remarked, “It is with great appreciation that we recognize the long and dedicated service by Louis during which he became an icon in the history of Capespan.
