We met up with John Burge, VP of Sales and Marketing for Classic Salads, at this year's Fresh Summit in Orlando. Classic Salads, based in Watsonville, CA, is a vertically integrated grower/packer/shipper of baby leaf products. They're a well known provider of organic salads to the foodservice industry. This year's show saw the introduction of over twenty different retail products,which are now available under their classic and/or private label.
