As food blogging continues to gain momentum as a popular way to reach the produce lover and curious fresh foods consumer, Crunch Pak and Duda Farm Fresh Foods partnered last week to host a party for an influential group of food bloggers in Miami, Florida.

“We find that hosting a food blogger party is a way to further the relationships we have with bloggers as well as build consumer awareness for our fresh food items,” said Elena Hernandez, Marketing Manager, Duda Farm Fresh Foods.

The event was held at Epic Hotel’s Marina Café on Friday, May 16, with more than 150 food bloggers in attendance. The party that was decorated in traditional Miami style with a white, gold and lime green (to showcase fresh apples and celery) color scheme, according to a press release.

“We wanted the food bloggers to feel special and appreciated, and that they were invited to an exclusive party centered around fresh food,” Hernandez said.

Peanut Butter & Co., provided product for the party’s goodie bags, and two “host” bloggers, Julie Deily from “The Little Kitchen” and Aimee Shugarman blogger from “Shugary Sweets,” helped greet guests and manage the party’s flow. The party featured its own hash tag for social media channels, #miamicrunchparty.

Desserts were handcrafted by the hotel’s chef and included mini apple crumble pies; mini green tea cheesecake bites with shaved celery slices; mini cinnamon churros with a raspberry lemon dipping sauce, and a cream cheese and grapefruit dipping sauce. The companies also served three signature cocktails that were infused with celery and apples to further showcase the fresh items’ versatility.

This is an annual event the companies have partnered to bring together food bloggers, with plans to work together again next year.
