CASHMERE, WA - Crunch Pak has signed on to participate in this year’s NBA FIT Van Tour, a mobile marketing tour scheduled to stop at 40 Wal-Mart stores between the remainder of this month and April.

Tony Freytag, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Crunch Pak"Professional athletes represent an active lifestyle as they embody aspirational attributes like responsibility and discipline," said Tony Freytag, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Crunch Pak, in a press release. "Being able to pair these athletes with fresh produce is a winning combination."

This comes shortly after the company’s roll out of its new Fit Snackers, a healthy and portable snack containing fresh apples, cheese and pretzels. The packaging features several of the NBA’s most well-known players including Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and John Wall.

This is Crunch Pak’s first year participating in the NBA FIT Van tour, which is set to hit Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Memphis. The philosophy is to engage active kids who need better options for healthy snacking using an interactive experience between athletes and fans, such as basketball-shooting contests, giveaways and more.

"We want to encourage kids of all ages to eat more fruits and vegetables," said Freytag. "NBA Fit Snackers are portable; they're easy to toss into a bag and go; and they make healthy eating fun and appealing."

Fit Snackers are available at Wal-Mart stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.49.
