WATSONVILLE, CA - Driscoll’s has announced that the company, along with its media partner SeeFood Media, won two Telly Awards for the web series “Desserts with Dorie,” starring cookbook author and renowned baker Dorie Greenspan.
Driscoll’s DiY Raspberry Tart video was the winner of a Silver award in the Branded Content & Entertainment: Promotional Branding category. The web series Desserts with Dorie was the winner of a Bronze award in the Web Series category.

According to the Telly Awards website, winners are chosen for their achievements in film and video productions, groundbreaking web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs. With over 2,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 different continents, Driscoll’s had quite a few competitors to beat out.
Dorie Greenspan, an expert baker with multiple cookbooks and culinary achievements, is known for recipes that incorporate baked goods with beautiful Driscoll’s berries.
These award-winning videos were directed by SeeFood Media Owner, Jamie Tiampo. He, along with the Director of Photography Jimmy McCoy, envisioned Dorie’s self-told story being central to the videos. While shooting with Dorie, Tiampo made sure to allow Dorie’s personality and love for Driscoll’s berries shine, according to a press release. Dorie herself, however, came up with all of the recipes based on desserts that she personally loves.
