GOODYEAR, AZ - Duncan Family Farms has completed an advantageous acquisition in pursuit of further expansion. The supplier acquired New York-based Pedersen Farms, which will help Duncan grow its organic operations specifically. The company aims to diversify its regional and local organic supply while operating as a leader in sustainability and a grower of premium products.

According to a press release, Pedersen Farms is home to additional varieties of fresh vegetables and operates out of a prime location. Through these advantages, Duncan Family Farms aims to increase its range of products and further mitigate potential supply chain challenges.

Rick Pedersen, who founded Pedersen Farms, will continue with the company as Head of Farming Operations, offering up on-the-ground expertise to help with the transition. Additionally, existing staff members will maintain their current positions with the support of Duncan Family Farms.
