<p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/tomsel052013ban.jpg" alt="Cropped Images May 20st 2 2013" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Former tomato grower and packer, East Coast Brokers and Packers Inc., is selling its assets in a series of sealed bid offerings in June and Early July. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The company is using Murray Wise Associates, in cooperation with Crosby & Associates, to handle the sale of its tomato operations across various states, luxury condominiums, and commercial and residential buildings, </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>"After two years of freezes on its Florida farms, a hurricane on its Virginia farms in 2011, and years of challenges resulting from years of cheap imports, a Chapter 11 filing was needed to provide the Madonia family an opportunity to sell assets in an organized fashion. This process will provide enough liquidity to satisfy creditors and allow the Madonia family to reorganize and carry on its operations," said Ken Nofziger, president of Murray Wise Associates.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Assets to be sold include over 7,000 acres of Florida farm and development land, packing houses, labor camps. The Red Rose Hotel in Plant City, luxury condominiums, and other properties in the state are also up for bid.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Thirteen farms of over 3,000 acres are for sale in Virginia are up for bidding as well as Commercial and residential buildings in Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>"Taken as a whole, these properties amount to a major integrated operation.
